We are delighted to announce that a painting by Roni Taharlev was borrowed by one of the head curators of the Louvre Museum for a major exhibition marking the 50 th anniversary of man’s first steps on the moon.The exhibit, titled “The Moon. Real and Imaginary Journeys”, will open on the 3 rd of April 2019 at the Grand Palais in Paris. It will feature works of artfrom across the Western tradition, including among others works by Giambattista Tiepolo, Jean-Antoine Houdon, Ann-Louis Girodet, Henry Füssli, Caspar David Friedrich and Gustav Doré. Roni Taharlev’s painting that will join this wonderful company is a variation on the theme of the annunciation, titled “Not This Light, the Other Light” (2018). Roni is working now on two other annunciation paintings from the same series that will beshown in her exhibition in the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art in May 2019.
